Tom Brady’s tenth appearance in the Super Bowl is more than several NFL teams combined

Tom Brady will make his 10th Super Bowl appearance when the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LV on February 7.

When Brady enters the field for the Buccaneers, he will have more appearances than 11 NFL franchises combined.

Brady will have more appearances alone than any other NFL franchise besides the New England Patriots, which have 11 Super Bowl appearances. Brady, Steve Grogan and Drew Bledsoe were the defenders who took New England to the Super Bowl. Brady was the only winner of the three.

If the Buccaneers somehow got off the top against champion Chiefs, Brady would take that seventh Super Bowl ring and have more championships in his name in NFL history.

Brady is one of the five Super Bowl MVP winners. He has the highest number of Super Bowl MVPs of all time, with four. But the last time he won was at Super Bowl LI. Julian Edelman won the Super Bowl LIII MVP in the Patriots’ victory over the Los Angeles Rams.
