Hours after Tom Brady led the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a 31-9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LV, the legendary quarterback decided to call on his coach Clyde Christensen to talk about the game.
Brady was already thinking about the 2021 season.

“He said, ‘Hey, I didn’t see you after the game. I just wanted to say thank you and what a great journey and how much I appreciate everything you’ve done,'” Christensen told the Tampa Bay Times.
Christensen continued: “The second thing he said: ‘I was sitting here thinking and I think we can really be better next year. I think we will be a better team.’ He was already excited about the next year. It’s incredible. That’s how his mind works. “
The Buccaneers will try to become the first New England Patriots team since 2003 and 2004 to repeat themselves as Super Bowl champions. The team’s quarterback? Brady.

“That’s his problem. Suddenly, the percentages change in his favor,” added Christensen. “To start with, it’s hard to get back into the playoffs after winning or losing a Super Bowl. So you compare that to Brady, where about 75 percent of the time he gets to [conference] championship game. It is a statistics reverser. It surpasses normal statistics.
“You say, ‘Okay, except, it’s Tom Brady.’ You kind of have to get him out, because he’s an outlier. “
