Tom Brady provided information on a variety of topics during an interview that aired on Wednesday, the first since Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ lively parade of boats at the Super Bowl last month.
Brady discussed his mood at the parade, the legendary Lombardi Trophy bid and what his wife, Gisele Bündchen, told him after the Super Bowl LV during an appearance on “The Late Late Show” with host James Corden.
Corden showed Brady the viral clip of his boat-to-boat trophy launch. The defender, jokingly, said that “he doesn’t remember that very well”.

“In the first place, I wasn’t thinking at the time. It wasn’t a thought. It was, ‘That sounds like a lot of fun to do,'” Brady told the host. “Not to mention that when you get your hands on one of these trophies, there are a lot of sharp points at the bottom.”
“I found out later, if it was an incomplete pass, it would have dropped about 80 feet,” he added.
Brady also revealed that his daughter Vivian participated in the viral video. Just before he tossed the trophy to an adjacent boat, she was heard on the video screaming, “Daddy, no!”
“This is my 8-year-old daughter,” said Brady. “Who would have guessed that an 8-year-old girl would have more sense than anyone else in that area at the time? She is the voice of reason. You can imagine.”
Brady also saw a clip of him being helped off the boat, which resulted in the “Drunk Tom Brady” trend on social media last month.
Corden asked the quarterback if he was hit by sea legs or a little tequila during that moment.

“A little bit of both,” said Brady. “It was definitely a moment of celebration. I am happy to be on the ground at that moment.”
“I’m happy to be surrounded by my fellow quarterback Griff [Ryan Griffin] in the right place at the right time, “he continued.” Who could have a better friend than that? Making sure I was that comfortable walking out of the boat like that. “
Brady had reason to celebrate after winning his seventh championship in a dominant 31-9 performance against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl LV.

He told a story about his wife’s immediate reaction after the big game.
“Suddenly, I see my eldest son running up to me, ‘Dad!’ and I gave him a big hug and I saw my two little kids and suddenly I saw my wife and I gave him a big hug and, the moment I did, she said, ‘What else do you have to prove?’ “
Brady said he gave her a big hug and quickly changed the subject.
At the end of the interview, Corden asked Brady if he had a chance in the NFL.
“Being completely honest, you have zero chance. Zero,” said Brady.
“I may not make it to Tampa, but can I play for the Jets?” the host replied.

“You may be able to play for the Jets. You are right about that,” added the quarterback.
