Tom Brady reads his mean tweets on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady knows you think he sucks. Brady showed a willingness to mock himself on Thursday, reading his mean tweets on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”.

Brady read 11 tweets in total. Some were bad, some were profane and some strangely offered Brady a reluctant respect before wishing he would break both legs.

Some of the tweets went too far – they don’t involve someone’s pet, come on – but the credit is due to the person who wanted Brady to throw it in a barrel of bacon fat. At least that was original. Even Brady seemed to like it.

Brady is far from the first athlete to read his nasty tweets, but it’s nice to see him mock himself. Brady is not necessarily immune to this. Your Twitter feed is really fun. But between his extremely strict diet and yelling at a teammate for crying, he may seem like a guy who takes some things very seriously.

Tom Brady wants to add to the legacy in the Super Bowl LIV

Brady is already considered one of the greatest – if not the greatest – defender of all time, so it’s hard to imagine that he can add even more to his legacy. But this Super Bowl is really very significant for Brady.

If he succeeds, he will not only be able to boast that he defeated Patrick Mahomes, but he will also be able to part ways with New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick. It doesn’t matter in the long run, as Brady is entering the Hall of Fame anyway, but fans won’t be able to send malicious tweets to Brady saying he was only successful because of Belichick.
