Tom Brady launches Lombardi Trophy during the Super Bowl boat parade

This was the most daring passage of Tom Brady’s career.

During the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ boat parade on Wednesday on the Hillsborough River to celebrate their 2021 Super Bowl victory, the 43-year-old quarterback threw the Lombardi Trophy from his yacht to someone on another boat.

Brady told reporters he was enjoying the “incredible” celebration, the seventh after winning six rings with the Patriots, who saw the river crowded with boats.

“Is anyone working today? No way,” Brady said.

Brady didn’t just drive his yacht to a parade of Super Bowl boats. He also received police escort, authorities keeping his ship safe during the celebration – held in place of a traditional parade because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Brady’s boat is 12 meters long and is called “Viva a Vida” – name of the initiative of environmental preservation of his wife, the supermodel, Gisele. TMZ reported that it cost a few million dollars.
