Today, Apple is bringing more of its free creative sessions online for everyone to participate. Starting in March, the product skills sessions covering the fundamentals of the iPhone, iPad and Mac will be available in a new virtual format.
COVID-19 kept Today at Apple out of the US Apple Stores for almost a year, but creativity never stopped online. Virtual sessions hosted on Webex are a growing and more accessible alternative for customers on the go.
Apple says that virtual versions of its popular product skills sessions are designed for those who are new to their devices, have recently updated or simply want to learn more about getting the most out of their iPhone, iPad or Mac. The sessions will cover notions basic hardware and software, tips for staying productive while working at home, and resources for going further with your devices. Apple started offering similar sessions in Australia in January for students preparing for the new semester.
All Today at Apple virtual sessions include an interactive question and answer segment. Your voice, face and name will not be visible to other participants, but you can send questions through the session chat. If you are using an iPhone or iPad to join, download the Cisco Web Meetings app in advance to avoid missing the login.

Apple is also highlighting artists who are holding sessions throughout March in collaboration with It’s Nice That. The sessions are part of the New World, a series that celebrates the role of creativity in rebuilding a better world.
Siham Ali spoke to three artists who redefined beauty and inclusion. Each artist’s session is a celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8:
These artists are continually challenging their own notions of beauty, power and representation through their work. Reframing narratives and looking for beauty where others cannot see, they are showing us the possibilities of a new world where anyone can be in charge.
You can sign up for the March schedule of New World sessions on the Apple website.
