Mark Cuban is investing more than half a million in a fantasy football trophy company called TrophySmack, and one of TMZ’s former employees is reaping the benefits!
Dax Holt was back with us on “TMZ Live” Monday to explain how he and his partner TrophySmack, Matt Walsh, managed to arrest Cuban in the most recent episode of “Shark Tank”.
He tells us that the trophy market was getting short in terms of creative trophies to satisfy the demands of modern day fantasy football fans … so they have increased.

Dax and Matt decided to join the “Shark Tank” in hopes of getting enough financial support to expand beyond fantasy sports … and the old icy tips (as he was known on “TMZ on TV”) say that they caught the fish Perfect.
Cuban did not make it easy for them – putting all the pressure on the founders of TrophySmack to make a VERY quick decision about their investment offering. From Dax’s point of view … it wasn’t too hard to choose Mark and his $ 600,000 investment.
As for the fact, they were made to scoff Lori Greiner … Dax says he’s more Cuban than they are.
Anyway, Dax and Matt may want to prepare a personalized trophy for Cubans right away that says welcome on board … something like “TrophySmack Stakeholder No. 1”.
