Titans is going for another round of Robin.
Jay Lycurgo, who was a guest at HBO’s I can destroy you and has a role in the next DC movie Batman, should happen again during the 3rd season of the series of live action superheroes like Tim Drake, a smart boy who grew up on the toughest streets without losing his indelible faith in heroism.
Tim’s quiet demeanor is supported by an almost genius mind – a natural detective with a sense of detail far beyond his age.
In DC history, Tim is bound to become the third Robin, succeeding Jason Todd (and Dick Grayson before him) in carrying the superhero cloak. Titans‘Dick (played by Brenton Thwaites), after a minor identity crisis, made the transition to the Nightwing persona, while Jason Todd (Curran Walters) will become Red Hood in season three.
Titans Seasons 1 and 2 – which originally debuted on the reconfigured DC Universe streaming service – are now available for broadcast on HBO Max, with the season 3 premiere date still TBA.
