Timothee Chalamet to meet with Call Me By Your Name director, Luca Guadagnino, for Bones & All

Timothée Chalamet will meet with Call Me By Your Name director Luca Guadagnino for the next cannibal love story Bones & All.

The film, according to THR, follows the story of Maren Yearly who embarks on a ‘journey across the country while she seeks out the father she never met in an attempt to understand why she has the desire to kill and eat the people who love her . ‘

Absent from the project is Armie Hammer, Chalamet’s co-star in CMBYN, who happens to be involved in a real-life “cannibal” controversy after disturbing direct messages allegedly sent by the actor leaked in early January.

The messages described some alarming sexual fantasies, including cannibalism: ‘I am 100% cannibalistic. I want to eat you. F ***. It’s scary to admit. I never admitted that before. ‘

Shortly after the news about Bones & All, Hammer’s ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers decided to comment publicly on the film’s premature premise.

‘No. Words, ‘wrote the 38-year-old TV personality, who left the comment in a post on JustJared’s Instagram reporting Armie’s obvious absence from the project.

Hammer previously announced his separation from Chambers on Instagram in July, writing: ‘Thirteen years as best friends, soulmates, partners and then parents.

“It’s been an incredible journey, but together we decided to turn the page and move on with our wedding.”

Bones & All would mark the reunion of Chalamet and Guadagnino, who directed it and Hammer, 34, in the 2017 Oscar winner CMBYN, based on the 2007 eponymous novel by André Aciman.

Set in the 1980s, the critically acclaimed film followed the life-changing summer adventure between Elio (Chalamet), 17, and student Oliver (Hammer), 24, who is living with his family in Italy during the Father of Elio stage.

There has been constant talk of a sequence since the film’s release, as Guadagnino expressed interest in defining and filming each installment years apart, as Richard Linklater did with his Before trilogy.
