Just a few years after making Call me by your name, Luca Guadagnino and Timothée Chalamet could be teaming up for a different kind of ripening tale. Guadagnino has his eye on a film adaptation of Bones and everything, 2016 romance for young adults by Camille DeAngelis about a girl looking for her father and trying to control her desire to eat people. How it is done! According to Deadline, the film would star Taylor Taylor, who broke out in 2019 Waves, and would also feature Chalamet, who was nominated for an Oscar for his work with Guadagnino in Call me by your name. Dave Kajganich, who has worked with Guadagnino in Suspiria and A bigger splash, wrote the script.

And you are not the only one caught off guard by the plot of the film. Elizabeth Chambers, ex-wife of Armie Hammer – who worked alongside Guadagnino and Chalamet in Call me by your name and has been at the center of a scandal after several women accused Hammer of abuse related to cannibalistic fantasies – noticed the news after Just Jared called Bones and everything “Um … cannibal love story movie” on Instagram. “No. Words.” she answered. The comment is Chambers’ first response since charges were brought against her ex-husband. Meanwhile, Hammer has just come out of a second project, the Paramount + series The ofert in making the Godfather movies.
