Tiger Woods’ ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, is determined to have a positive co-parenting relationship with the golf star.
The sex scandal of the 45-year-old in 2009 is being revisited in the new HBO documentary entitled “Tiger”. Her ex-lover, Rachel Uchitel, is featured in the film and spoke about her case.
After dozens of accusations by women who claim to have sexual affairs with the sports icon, Woods and Nordegren, 41, dropped out in 2010. The ex-couple shares a 13-year-old daughter named Sam, as well as another 11-year-old. old son named Charlie.
“Elin put her own feelings aside to make sure the kids had a great relationship with their father,” a source told People magazine on Monday.

“Elin and Tiger do a great job as parents,” added the source.
After the sex scandal, Woods’ career suffered for a decade. According to the newspaper, he finally managed to recover, leading to victory in the Masters Tournament in 2019. It was his first major title in 11 years.
In December, Woods and Charlie played their first tournament together. Nordegren and Sam were seen watching the father-son duo.
“I don’t think words can describe it,” Woods told reporters, as quoted by the vehicle. “Just the fact that we were able to have this experience together, Charlie and I. They are memories for a lifetime.”

The outlet noted that Charlie is a talented junior golfer in Florida who won a tournament in August 2020. Woods was seen as a caddy for his son.
Uchitel recently told New England Cable News Derek Zagami that he would like to share his side of the story.
“I spent 10 years having a lot of media being very sarcastic in the way they write about me, the audience getting very angry at the way they talk about me and the way they see me, and I feel that they have wanted an apology from me “, explained the 45-year-old man.
“I clearly did not want to cause anger in these people, because this is not who I am and this is not a position that I want to put anyone in,” continued Uchitel.

Uchitel said he feels he “owes” no such excuses to anyone “because I haven’t hurt anyone personally and people don’t know me personally”.
“They are putting a lot of anger on me because of their own personal problems,” she explained. “It’s on my back and it’s very difficult for me to accept when my personal story has been with two other people, and those are the only people that, you know, my apologies go to. Or one person, actually.”
Uchitel seemed to be referring to Woods or Nordegren.
Their case happened more than a decade ago, so Uchitel hopes that someday soon, she will see some relief in the public eye.
