She is at the top of her game as a comic.

And Tiffany Haddish made history this Sunday when she won the Grammy for Best Comedy Album, making her the first black woman to receive the honor in 35 years.

The Girls Trip star, 41, shared a video of the emotional moment when she learned of the victory, which brought her to tears right in the middle of the filming of her program, Kids Say The Darndest Things.

As Tiffany talks to a producer through a headset in the clip, she says she is simply honored to be nominated for a Grammy.

She is completely surprised when he says that she won.

‘Are you serious?’ actress Like A Boss asks as the children continue to chatter.

Tiffany then stops to tell the children about the award, saying, ‘You know a black woman hasn’t won in that category since 1986’ in reference to Whoopi Goldberg’s victory for Whoopi Goldberg: Original Broadway Show Recording.
