For the military veteran, the night changed when TI and Mrs. Harris invited her and a few others to join them when they left the club, she said. Believing that they would continue the party elsewhere, she remembered going along willingly.
Instead, they went to a hotel room where the other guests were quickly asked to leave, according to the lawyer’s letter, and the woman began to suffer the effects of everything she had ingested – although she had consumed less than two drinks, the letter said. Her friend, from whom she separated, never made it to the bedroom; she was throwing up in the lobby bathroom, she said in an interview.
According to the letter, Ms. Harris suggested that the military veteran “cool off” and take her to the bathroom, where the woman, drunk and oppressed, allowed Mrs. Harris to undress and bathe her.
When they put her back on the bed, the three people were naked and the veteran began to vomit, the letter said. TI then “tried to put her foot in her vagina”. She said no, the letter said. The woman remembers TI laughing at her for throwing up and him going out to get condoms.
“The next thing she remembers,” the letter continued, “was waking up naked on the couch, with a towel thrown over her and a very sore vagina.” A security guard was knocking on the door, telling him to leave, she recalled.
The woman ran away. When her friend picked her up, she told the rest of the night, they said in separate interviews. At home, the woman went straight to the shower, scrubbing her body with Tide soap and bleach, she said. She was embarrassed to go to the doctor, she said, but then she treated an infection on her own.
