Three mass vaccination events for COVID-19 planned this weekend in Colorado.

Three mass events of the COVID-19 vaccine are being held this weekend and an event is taking place on Sunday because of the cold weather.

All three events are invite-only, with no occasional participants.

Due to the severe weather forecast for Sunday, February 14, the 2nd dose drive-through clinic in Coors Field is moving to the Bruce Schroffel Conference Center at the University of Colorado UCHealth Hospital, according to a press release.

The UCHealth team is reaching all 1,000 patients to notify them of the change, the statement said.

Kaiser Permanente is hosting mass vaccination events this weekend for Colorado educators and the state’s senior population (70+), a press release said. Kaiser Permanente expects to vaccinate 19,000 coloradans in 16 locations.

Centura Health will host the “first mass COVID-19 vaccine drive-thru clinic in the Pikes Peak region this weekend,” Centura said in a press release.

“The vaccine clinic, in partnership with COVIDCheck Colorado, a social benefit company from Gary Community Investments, will deliver 5,000 doses of the Pfizer vaccine to individuals aged 70 and over who meet the requirements set by the Department of Public Health and Environment of the Colorado, ”said the statement.
