Thomas Markle said he is making a documentary about Meghan Markle – and he hopes it will help “find out what went wrong” in their relationship.

Thomas, who has not spoken to Meghan and Prince Harry since before their royal wedding in 2018, told The Sun that he is working with a cameraman and hopes to complete the project later this year.

“It starts with my life, my family, my love of theater and television and how I got there. Then, my life with Meghan, growing up, her school days until she went to college and when her career started,” he said. Sun.

“We have had a good life together, since their first marriage and moving to Canada. Then, a new story begins! It’s like ‘What happened to my daughter,’ ”he added.

Thomas has already talked about his fight with his daughter in the Channel 5 documentary “Thomas Markle: My Story”. In the documentary, which aired in the UK in January last year, Thomas admitted that he cried when he saw Prince Charles take his daughter down the hall when he couldn’t be there to do it alone.

“It was not edited in the correct order, the dates were wrong and there were a lot of generic public domain films added,” Thomas told The Sun of the documentary Channel 5.

“My documentary will have some new videos and my favorite photo of my daughter and we will try to find out what went wrong. I think we will do a good job,” he added.

Thomas and Meghan shared contrasting accounts of their infamous fall. In preparation for the royal wedding, the news that Thomas had staged paparazzi photos – something he said prompted him to text his daughter stating that he would not be attending the wedding and would make a public apology.

In text messages shared by the Duchess’s legal team, Meghan and Harry tried to convince Thomas not to speak to the press.

“If you love Meg and want to fix things, please call me, as there are two other options that don’t involve you having to talk to the media, who accidentally created this whole situation. So, please call me so I can explain. Meg and I’m not angry, we just need to talk to you, ”wrote Harry in a text message.

The duchess said that instead of calling or texting back, her father issued a public statement through TMZ to announce that he had a heart attack, which was the first time the couple had heard about it.

In the Channel 5 documentary, Thomas recalled a telephone conversation with the duke after the heart attack, in which he claimed that Harry said to him, “If you had heard me, this would not have happened to you.”

He added that Harry told him that “if I had stayed at home and kept the door locked and never talked to anyone, it wouldn’t have happened.”

“For me, that was a very rude thing to say, especially when he knew I was lying in a hospital bed,” said Thomas.

The Duchess of Sussex is suing the British newspaper The Mail on Sunday after he published excerpts from a private letter that she wrote to Thomas shortly after the royal wedding.

Thomas said last year that he is willing to testify against Meghan in court.

“I wish it hadn’t happened, but I will certainly testify against the things that have been said about me. The lies,” Thomas previously told The Sun. “When Meghan and I end up in court together, it will be quite impressive for everyone.”

Thomas’ other daughter and Meghan’s half sister, Samantha Markle, is also sharing her perspective on her relationship with the Duchess in a new book.

In the memoir, “The Diary Of Princess Pushy’s Sister Part 1”, which will be published in the United States on February 1, Samantha plans to share “the truth about her life and family against all odds and ultimatums, as a fairy tale. real plummets from dish towels. Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction “, according to the synopsis of the online book.
