This powerful Assassin’s Creed Valhalla weapon is hidden in a pile of magic stones • Eurogamer.net

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players have discovered a powerful secret weapon hidden in a pile of stones. Well. More or less.

Nodens’ secret Isu Arc is unlocked for players who repeatedly hit a small pile of stones near the Brunson Tower in Northumbria. In the lake to the north, there is a small island, and there you will find the pile of rock ore you need.

YouTuber JorRaptor guides you through the steps here (thanks, Kotaku) and has now been verified by several players:

Hit the rocks a few times – you’ll notice that it doesn’t break like others do – and then save and reload the game. Rinse and repeat until you press to find the stone pile is now broken, and Nodens’ Arc Hunter Bow should appear on the side of the screen.

Whether or not this is intentional remains to be seen (I suspect not), so if you’re interested, go there now and get it before Ubisoft fixes it.

ICYMI, Ubisoft recently released a major bug-fixing update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Update 1.1.1 of the game is light on new features, but heavy on fixes, with dozens of common issues eliminated.

Among those who stood out for Tom in a quick scan of his long patch notes are solutions to the bug experienced by countless people who saw them permanently trapped in their Mari Lwyd Halloween disguise even after completing that mission arc. Ubisoft Connect achievements have also been fixed and should be unlocked correctly the next time you take any action related to the achievement after the unlock condition.

The next step for Valhalla is a new way of attacking the river and a leveling system for its Jomsvikings, due in February.
