This Pokémon Gengar Plush features a huge tongue in which you can sleep

Outside of Lickitung, it’s safe to say that Gengar is the Pokémon most associated with the Lick movement, and that fact is represented in a new Sleeping Companion, coming from the Premium Bandai! The sleeping companion looks like one of the many Pokémon plushes available today, but with a striking difference: a giant tongue that can roll out of its mouth! The tongue is about five feet long, so some fans can actually sleep on it, with their heads placed inside Gengar’s open mouth! As for Pokémon products, this one is unique, to say the least!

Pre-orders for the Gengar Sleeping Companion are available in the Japanese version of Premium Bandai, but do not appear to be available in the American version of the website, as of this writing. As such, it is impossible to say exactly how much the item will end up costing fans in the region, but the luxury is being sold for 25,950 円 on the Japanese website, which means about $ 250. That number is likely to be expensive for many fans of Pokémon that may be interested in a giant Gengar tongue bed, but when else will you have the opportunity to buy a giant Gengar tongue bed? This may just be a unique opportunity in the franchise for Gengar fans!

Since the launch of Red and green Pokémon in 1996, Gengar was easily one of the most popular Pokémon. As one of the few Ghost-type Pokémon in the game, Gengar (alongside Gastly and Haunter), quickly won over the franchise’s fans. In the 25 years since the game’s release, the character has received a number of merchandise from The Pokémon Company, including model kits, t-shirts, cards, dolls and more. In that period, however, the character has never had anything as cool as this Sleeping Companion. It is immediately one of the most interesting pieces of Pokémon merchandise of all time, and it is something that diehard fans will have a hard time rejecting!
