In recent years, the LEGO Ideas program has given fans the tools to create and launch some wonderful concepts using the brick format. Although several sets were released as a result, Zelda fans were unsuccessful in their attempts to order a set based on Nintendo’s Zelda franchise. However, this did not stop the user Artem Biziaev from sharing his opinion on an incredible setting of Hyrule Castle! Specifically based on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the castle would consist of 2600 pieces and would feature Minifigs from Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, a Stalfos, a member of the Royal Guard and Anju.
An image of the castle can be found below, and more images can be found on the LEGO Ideas page here.

What is interesting about this set is how much effort has been made to really channel the heart of Ocarina of Time. From the Temple of Time to the inclusion of four Heart Pieces, there is incredible attention to detail. If this set received a green light from LEGO and Nintendo, it is safe to say that it would become a must-have for Zelda fans!
Although previous Zelda sets have been released through LEGO Ideas before, it is important to note that the chances are slightly higher this time around. After all, 2020 saw the launch of a line of the company’s Super Mario sets, as well as the launch of a LEGO version of the Nintendo Entertainment System. Although the figures in the LEGO Mario line did not follow the classic Minifig format, it is entirely possible that a Zelda set will follow something a little more traditional.
For those unfamiliar with the LEGO Ideas program, fans can sign a petition to show LEGO that there is an interest in buying the concept that has been shared. As concepts reach greater milestones, users have more time to attract subscriptions. At the time of writing, the Hyrule Castle project idea had 602 days left and 1,390 supporters. It will take a lot more than that to get LEGO’s attention, so Zelda fans who want to see the set come to life will want to show a little love for the project!
