Well, at least it will be the same on both sides now
Everyone was under the impression that Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition would end with 45 playable characters on its list when all is said and done, but now we know that that number is actually 46.
Capcom recently announced that the shapeshifter Eleven will join the cast during the Winter Update presentation, and they have also shown how the character selection screen will look once he and Dan are added in the coming days.
Those who wait for some kind of user interface revision from the Arcade Edition gold and studio theme are likely to be disappointed to see that things will remain the same in Season 5, which is not very surprising, since Champion Edition also has not changed. The players in general seem very happy, however.
It is interesting to see that Eleven will receive his own standard character slot, despite being a “random selection” character, as we have seen in other games like Mokujin for Tekken.
Hitting the final number of characters makes the number even more uniform, so we won’t have to look at another Marvel vs. situation. Capcom: Infinite for the rest of the game’s life.
Dan and Eleven will join the game along with the Season 5 update after the Capcom Pro Tour 2020 Season Final on February 22, 2021, where the impersonator is included in any version of the game’s final season pass.
