This a capella group impressively recreates the sound effects of the iPhone

In January, the South Korean cappella group Maytree impressed us with their vocal interpretations of Windows sound effects and, on Friday, the group released a video of their next impressive showcase: iPhone sound interpretations.

The video takes just over a minute, and I recommend watching the entire video, which you can do at the top of this post. They cover many touches, including the familiar “Opening” touch, the classic “Marimba” touch and even the “Strum” accent. (I must warn you that they also recreate the shrill “Alarm” ringtone, so be prepared to experience that brief moment of terror.) They even deal with some system noise, including sounds of text messages being sent and received and a choreographed version of the iPhone lock sound.

If you haven’t seen the Windows sound effects video yet, you should set aside 28 seconds of your day to watch it too. I think it’s even better than the iPhone video.
