If you live in Dallas, Texas, you have the chance to spend the night in what I consider to be a player’s paradise: a 7-Eleven complete with snacks, a Slurpee machine and the hard to find PS5 available for use during your stay.
As of February 1, residents aged 18 and over will have the chance to spend $ 11 for a night at the utopia for players before it is open to the public. However, the rules are somewhat strict, as two players from the same house those who book the experience through the Airbnb website will have the chance to stay overnight. Only two dates are available: February 26th and February 28th.
During the stay, two lucky guests will have access to the store, which has a futuristic gaming aesthetic and is really #gamingroomgoals. Is there a game pod that includes a big screen TV, some comfortable looking furniture and did I mention that there was a PS5 too? In addition, guests will also have access to an exclusive one-hour streaming session on Twitch with FaZe Temperrr.
Guests will have access to drinks and snacks available inside the store, including a free Slurpee machine, tacos from the Laredo Taco Company and all Doritos and Mtn Dew they can drink.
As a player, I was deeply upset that I was not eligible to try to book a night at this 7-Eleven store due to living in Maryland. I mean, I have a PS5, of course, but do you know how many brain blocks I could have achieved with access to a Slurpee machine to drink at will? This is not the first time that limited-time stays are available through Airbnb. In September, the company allowed LA County residents to spend the night in the same mansion presented in Fresh prince of Bel Air. In August, residents of Deschutes County, Oregon, could have a 90s-themed slumber party at the last remaining Blockbuster rental store, and in 2019, you could stay at the Barbie Malibu Dreamhouse for just $ 60 a night.
