– As the distribution of the various coronavirus vaccines continues, there is now a light (still a little distant) at the end of the pandemic tunnel. But, with months left for a large part of the population to be vaccinated, it is important to keep up to date with health and safety guidelines and follow local statistics. The last part will vary depending on where you live, as some states in the U.S. are doing much better than others in keeping COVID under control and distributing the vaccine. WalletHub analyzed all 50 states using just five main indicators – vaccination rate, positive test rate, hospitalization rate, estimated transmission rate and mortality rate – to see which ones were safer and which could be improved.
