There is something suspicious about the ‘very positive’ reviews of this Steam game

Emoji Evolution is a simple-looking puzzle game in which you “combine different elements to find a new one” to – and wow, this really increases – “solving humanity’s main dilemma”. It seems that Steam users are very fond …or they?

Take another look at the image on your Steam page and you will notice that, although recent reviews are “mixed”, the game developer has replicated the look of a game with recent and overall “very positive” reviews, changing its developer / editor names for “very positive”. Due to Valve’s font and color options, the effect is that it looks like the review summary section of a Steam page. Like Vice reporter (and Kotaku-life of another life) Patrick Klepek put on Twitter: “Well, this is a way to trick people into thinking that your game has positive reviews on Steam!”

Uh, Valve? Hey, Valve ??? You may want to … not allow developers to do that.
