‘There is no one to blame’

Dale Moss is on defense after a post from his ex-fiancee, former “Bachelorette” Clare Crawley, in addition to accusations of cheating.

In a video message posted on Monday, the former NFL player said: “There is no one to blame” for the split.

In a series of stories on Instagram, Moss – who became engaged to Crawley, 39, last year after a turbulent relationship in the 16th season of “The Bachelorette” – said the last two weeks around the breakup had been “a drug”.

“Building a relationship, in general, is difficult, especially when you’re doing it in the public eye, and the media takes things and runs with them,” said Moss, 32. “People will spread lies or always want to point the finger, but the fact is that there is no one to blame in this situation.

Moss added in a new video that he and Crawley experienced “ups and downs” and that he “wanted nothing more than to make this relationship work”.

For the past few days, Moss has been at the center of the cheating charges. Eleonora Srugo, whose name pleased Moss, vehemently denied that the two were romantically involved.

Last Tuesday, Moss confirmed that he and Crawley broke up, posting on Instagram: “We appreciate the love and support we have received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at the moment.”

But Crawley later said that she “was informed of a ‘mutual’ statement at the same time as all of you, so I need some time to really digest this”.

“Speaking for me, my intentions with this relationship have always been very clear, so the truth is that I am devastated,” she wrote.
