“If you’re a fan of Titanfall, wait for season 9.”
Fasten your seatbelts, Titanfall fans – “a ton” of Titanfall flavored content is coming to Battle Royale, Apex Legends.
During a panel at BrownGirlGamerCode, Apex senior editor Ashley Reed hinted that the studio was working “to integrate Titanfall” in future updates, such as “Titanfall is a big part of the universe”.
Apex game director Chad Grenier went a step further as well, confirming that Apex would host some “really cool stuff” that we could recognize from the critically acclaimed shooting series Respawn.
“Next season – Season 9 – you will really see a ton of Titanfall coming back into the game, in one way or another,” suggested Grenier (thanks, Dexerto). “I told some people before, if you are a fan of Titanfall, wait in season 9 because there will be really cool things there.”
As for the details? Unfortunately, neither Grenier nor Reed could be drawn in more detail, so all we can do for now is to observe this space.
ICYMI, Respawn recently banned two Apex Predators on the Xbox that were picked up DDoS on a server to win a game.
After videos of the suspicious behavior appeared on reddit, Respawn security analyst Conor “Hideouts” Ford confirmed that the two were banned.
This is not the first time that Respawn has had to deal with serious cheating problems in the game’s Ranked mode: team building has always been an issue, with some Predators caught forming teams of six men to gain an advantage, something Respawn said who would investigate after several key players were accused of cheating to move on.
