The Yakuza fan has arrived, repairing the PC versions of the series again

As I said, it is a little difficult to return and playing older Yakuza games in 2021, and not just because of the more rigid animation and the lack of first-person perspective. The PC versions of Yakuzas 3, 4 AND 5 also has (or had) some technical hiccups.

A few weeks ago, modder Silent – who we covered a few years ago doing almost the same thing for Yakuza 0– released its own patch for Yakuzas 3 AND 4, which fixed things like excessively high CPU usage and crashes that would happen when ending a fight with a heat stroke (the ideal way to end a fight!)

Sega then released its own official patch that did … basically the same things! With all of that resolved, it was time to take a look Yakuza 5, where he managed to fix problems like, again, excessively high CPU usage, problems with dynamic resolution and a strange bug in which anyone with non-ASCII characters in his name would crash if he used the game’s photo booths.

Maybe Sega will show up later and fix those with an official update too, but if they don’t or if you want to fix them now, you can download the unofficial Silent patch on here.
