The world of wrestling is very excited about the new Molly Holly from the WWE Hall of Fame

Along with Christian (and I’m sure that somewhere Vince McMahon is saying “you sure missed your chance, buddy”), Molly Holly was on top of many people who should be on the WWE Hall of Fame lists.

This morning (March 10), the former female champion received Hall’s call. We saw how touched Shane “Hurricane” Helms was when he told his former superhero partner the news of The collision:

And in case it didn’t make the hydraulic system work for you, The collision also showed this old clip of Tegan Nox from NXT finding his inspiration for the first time:

Nox was among many who jumped on social media to take out Molly (to save us from a series of tweets from quotes from the video clips above, I took a screenshot of some of them. The original tweet is linked in these cases):

Trish Stratus’s Twitter

Beth Phoenix Twitter

Nikki Cross’ Twitter

Lance Storm’s Twitter

And why is she getting a virtual “you deserve” song? She is undoubtedly a great person, but she is also dedicated to her craft. Watch this story of how she negotiated her way to the WrestleMania XX card at a time when there was no guarantee that a ‘Mania would have women’s games:

“I was a champion and the writers told me that there was only room for a women’s fight at WrestleMania. They were going to have a pillow fight or a mud game. I was very devastated and thought that I had to invent something that would change my mind. So I put on a bald cap and took my picture. I made a booklet with a lot of different stories showing my head being shaved. I introduced him to Stephanie McMahon and some of the writers and said, ‘I’m willing to shave my head, can I please be at WrestleMania?’ Sure enough, they came back to me a few days later and said, ‘Okay, well, we’re going to let you shave your head at WrestleMania.’ “

Congratulations Molly. You really deserve it!
