Disturbing video of Wednesday’s US Capitol revolt shows what appears to be a Capitol Police officer being crushed between a riot shield and a metal door as a crowd of protesters enter the building.
The young officer, with a bloody mouth, screams in pain and calls for help.
The medical condition of the unidentified police officer after the incident was not immediately known.
The rioters, armed with pipes and pepper spray, pushed and kicked the officers – even using their own shields against the Capitol’s strength – to make their way through the front entrance.
