The Valheim Plus mod makes construction much more accurate

The Viking Valheim creative adventure is in vogue right now, which means that almost everyone has opinions on which design and survival features are great and which are a pain. The developers have plans to add features and tweaks during early access, but modders have already started researching that too. Valehim Plus is one of the biggest in the group at the moment, a mod that brings together a good handful of convenience adjustments along with some extra precision construction tools.

One of the best benefits, for my money, is the shared map system. I’ve been hosting a world for several friends and I’ve already been disappointed to discover that they can’t see the explored parts of the map where I wandered without them. It would be great if they could see my adventures, since I am the clearest obsessive resident fog of war. You just need to be online at the same time and have your position shared with other players for it to work.

Valheim Plus’ advanced build mode and advanced edit mode also seem to be of great benefit. Construction mode tools allow you to position construction objects much more precisely, moving and rotating along any desired axis. The advanced edit mode allows you to move items from the construction mode without destroying them first. It’s a big sigh of relief for me too. I don’t want to talk about how many times I destroyed my bed just to move it three feet, and then I forgot to claim it as my rebirth point.

There are several other settings worth checking out, such as changing the processing speed of materials, removing the restriction on teleporting items, and changing the weight or size of the item stack so that you can transport more than once.

You can find Valheim Plus on Nexus Mods along with instructions for installing it on your local world or server. You can enable and disable the mod’s features independently, the creator says, which means you can choose which changes you like and which you don’t need.
