MONTPELIER, Vt. (WCAX) – Registration for the COVID-19 vaccine is now open to Vermonters 75 and older.
You can apply for the vaccine at this link. Starting at noon on Monday, you can also call 855-722-7878 to make an appointment. From now on, the call center will be open from Monday to Friday, from 8:15 am to 5:30 pm, and from Saturday to Sunday, from 10 am to 3 pm
When making an appointment, you will be asked to provide your name, date of birth, some medical questions, such as whether you have recently had another vaccine and insurance information, although insurance is not mandatory.
The first appointments begin this Wednesday.
A receptionist will check you in, someone will give you a chance, so you can watch for 15 minutes and then you can leave. It is important to attend the consultation because if you do not, your dose may be spoiled.
An appointment to receive the second dose of the vaccine will be scheduled after you receive your first injection.
