The touch of Tom Brady’s TD pass to Drew Brees’s son goes viral

Tom Brady may have taken the best from Drew Brees in what will likely be the last game of Brees’ career – but the two defenders shared an exciting moment after the game was over.

A viral video tweeted by reporter James Palmer shows Brady talking to Brees in the Superdome field after the Buccaneers’ 30-20 win over the Saints. The two quarterbacks gave each other a hug while Brees’ family – wife Brittany and sons Baylen, Bowen, Callen and Rylen – stayed close by.

Then Baylen approached Brady with a soccer ball, and the six-time Super Bowl champion threw a touchdown pass to Brees’s son in the corner of the end zone.

“We could have used you tonight!” Brady joked when Baylen took the pass.

The video went viral immediately and had more than 7 million views on Monday morning.

Brees, 42, is expected to retire in this off-season, after 20 years in the NFL. He currently holds several all-time records in the NFL, including most passing yards with 80,358. Brees already has a contract to work for NBC Sports as soon as he retires.
