When we think about Ryan Murphy american horror story, certain terms emerge immediately to care. “Precision.” “Laser focus.” “That guy with the pierced penis doing horrible things with Max Greenfield.” And yet, it seems that Murphy and his regular circle of actors – now featuring Macaulay Culkin, in fact – may be, shock of the shocks, dividing the attention a little for the next chapter of the show What do you mean, the 10th season of AHS already had its title formally announced: Double feature.

In addition to immediately obtaining “Dual function of science fiction” stuck in our heads, thank you, Ryan—The title also alludes to what appears to be a bifurcated structure for the new season, with one story “by the sea” and the other “by the sea”. Of course, FX’s promotional department released this idea by showing a video of a beach, which is at the same time sea and sand, so … Hmm.

This is not the first time AHS divided his focus formally, it is clear; the series delights in occasionally tinkering with its own format, most notably with the Roanoke season that jumped from a fake documentary story to the horror of the moment. It’s also just a minute ago since the show was back doing its extreme horror version on TV; the last season, 1984, wrapped up in all its VHS glory in 2019. No word yet on when, exactly, Double feature it can be expected to debut, but series regulars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Frances Conroy and others are expected to return to the bloody flock.
