‘The Talk’ is on a hiatus after the heated debate of Sharon Osbourne and Sheryl Underwood

In a programming email to CNN, “The Talk” noted that they would be broadcasting some old episodes on Monday and Tuesday, instead of their live shows.

On Monday, Morgan hit CBS on Twitter for his decision to temporarily shut the show down, and Donald Trump Jr. retweeted Morgan, adding “This is going crazy!”
“Now, other programs are being taken off the air because someone who really knows someone else doesn’t believe they are racist simply because someone else accused them of it without any foundation, simply because they didn’t believe in someone else,” Trump tweeted. “I understood?!?”

CNN contacted CBS and Osbourne for comment.

It all started on the show last week after Underwood questioned Osbourne’s support for Morgan, who left the set and quit his job on ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” after allegations that he made comments after Prince Harry’s interview and Meghan with Oprah Winfrey were rooted in racism.
Osbourne later tweeted an apology saying that she “panicked”, “felt surprised” and “became defensive” during her conversation with Underwood.

“After some reflection, after sitting down with your comments and sitting down with my heart, I would like to address the discussion on The Talk last Wednesday. I have always been embraced with a lot of love and support from the black community and I have deep respect and love for black community. “

CBS released a statement on Friday that said “We are committed to a diverse, inclusive and respectful work environment. All matters relating to Wednesday’s episode of ‘The Talk’ are currently under internal review.”

In addition to Osbourne and Underwood, the show also features Carrie Ann Inaba, Amanda Kloots and Elaine Welteroth as co-hosts.
