The Sumter County Department of Health offers two more dates for COVID-19 vaccinations

The Sumter County Department of Health will host two drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination events next week.

The vaccine is available to residents, non-residents, part-time residents and seasonal residents 65 years of age or older. Registration is mandatory.

The details are as follows:

Monday, January 11 at 9 am to noon Wildwood Community Center

Available registrations will be in 9 to 10h 70 registrations; 10 to 11 am 70 registrations; and 11am to noon 60 registrations.

Wednesday, January 13 – 9 am to noon Wildwood Community Center

Online only at https://sumtercovidvaxjan13.eventbrite.com
Available registrations will be in 9 to 10h 50 registrations; 10 to 11 am 50 registrations; and From 11am to noon 40 registrations.

Registration for both events will be available at 8:00 AM on Sunday, January 10

Those who apply are requested to arrive during the designated 1 hour time interval with a valid form of identification (driver’s license, passport, etc.) and a copy of the Eventbrite registration ticket. Only those who successfully register will be vaccinated.
