2020 should end well for the lucky one, after state lottery officials announced that the $ 18 million winning ticket to the SuperLotto Plus grand prize was sold at a San Jose company.
The unidentified winner chose all five numbers correctly (4, 6, 16, 19 and 32), along with Mega number 2. The ticket was purchased at Cafe Paradise, a Vietnamese restaurant and hookah bar in San Jose. The restaurant is likely to receive about $ 100,000 in commissions from ticket sales.
The name of the winning ticket holder has not been announced.
Four people chose all five numbers correctly, but lost the Mega number. One of the winning tickets, paying $ 8,699, was purchased at a convenience store in Vallejo.
