The right things based after a season at Disney

The right thing returned to the track after a quick trip around the streaming universe, reports Deadline. The historical series Nat Geo, based on the author non-fiction book by author Tom Wolfe from 1979, which also inspired the 1983 Oscar-winning film adaptation of the same name, is supposed to come to an end after a season on the platform, after making its debut. in the series on October 9, 2020. It is, like deadline notes, the cancellation of the first show with a script from Disney +.

Much like Wolfe’s book, the period drama explored the beginning of NASA’s space program and the personal stories of Mercury Seven, a group of test pilots, including John Glenn and Alan Shepard, observed in 1959, who were determined to having “the right things” to become the country’s first astronauts. The group was subsequently placed in the spotlight of the space race, alongside their families, as the nation prepared to put its first man into orbit.

Warner Bros. Television is reportedly buying the show, produced by WBTV and Leonardo DiCaprio’s Appian Way, on other channels, presumably TNT and HBO Max, so hopefully we will still be able to find out if we get to the moon. Don’t tell us if you know! We don’t support spoilers.
