The Resident Evil Village Collector’s Edition reveals a game world map

The extravagant Resident Evil Village Collector’s Edition comes with a reversible microfiber map that reveals the layout of the titular village, its four distinct houses and Lady Dimitrescu’s castle.

The physical map of the Collector’s Edition could easily pass through the actual map of the game, but it is possible that this version looks different. At the very least, it is an official Capcom image revealing several key locations in the game and where they relate to. Yesterday, Capcom released a small visual teaser of Resident Evil Village that gives a vague context to the story and locations of the game.

An image of the map, captured by Orpheus2020 on Reddit, names a number of potential locations that we will explore in Resident Evil Village. There is the Dimitrescu Castle, the palace of the famous Resident Evil vampire woman on the internet, the Casa Beneviento, the Heisenberg Factory and the Moreau Reservoir. It is difficult to distinguish what other locations are called, as the image is low resolution, but perhaps you have better eyes than mine.

If you are planning to pre-order Resident Evil Village, Collector’s Edition is definitely one for megafans. For a considerable $ 220, you get the fabric map, a steel book case, the Trauma Pack DLC, a Chris Redfield figurine, and a 64-page hardcover art book. There is also the $ 80 Deluxe Edition, which includes the excellent Resident Evil 7 and, of course, you can always get the basic game for the usual $ 60.
