The redesigned LG Stylo 7 5G leaks in new renderings

LG may not be the most successful supplier of intermediate smartphones in the world, but as one of the few budget devices that comes with a built-in stylus, the Stylo 6 certainly made its fair share of headlines this year.

The prolific Twitter leaker is here today to reveal (or rather, corroborate) the all-new design of the next Stylo 7, which a different source has portrayed in several CAD-based schemes for more than a month. This second set of renderings is much more polished, better highlighting the main visual distinctions between the unannounced mid-ranger with the pen and the existing one LG Stylo 6.
The LG Stylo 7 5G will apparently replace the somewhat outdated waterdrop-style notch of its predecessor with a decidedly more modern centered hole punch, although the relatively thick chin on the Stylo 6 4G LTE probably hasn’t changed. As such, drastic revisions of a general size are not expected, especially with the Stylo 7 set to maintain the Stylo 6’s 6.8-inch screen size.

At the rear, the three mysterious cameras are arranged vertically along the top left corner of the phone, instead of horizontally in the top center section, while the fingerprint sensor is moved to the right side instead of being embedded in the screen for purposes cost reduction.

Interestingly, this time, there is no sign of that unconventional pen accessory pictured on the back of the device last month, so it looks like you will probably have to settle for a classic pen holder located at the bottom, after all. Many of the other main specs and features remain hidden for now, but we know that the good old headphone jack is here to stay.

It also seems safe to assume that the 5G-enabled LG Stylo 7 will be significantly more powerful and expensive than its $ 300 4G LTE predecessor, although it is definitely too early to attempt a firmer forecast than that.
