Prince Fans will soon have a chance to pay their respects to him personally when Paisley Park opens its doors to the public and displays its ashes in the museum’s lobby.
Paisley Park officials have announced that they will allow 1,400 people – through reservations at paisleypark.com – to enter the Minnesota complex for a 30-minute visit to the lobby on April 21 … which will be the 5th anniversary of Prince’s sudden death .
The museum will offer 70 hours … and 20 people per hour will be allowed. However, the visit to the museum will be limited to the lobby, as there will be no regular tours that day.
The best part of this for those lucky enough to get a reservation … admission is free. There will also be an online memorial for those who are unable to make a reservation.
Paying your respects is something very important to some fans – a ceramic urn made in the shape of Paisley Park with the Prince symbol was displayed a few months after his death, but was eventually removed from public view.
TMZ told the story … Prince died in 2016 on one accidental overdose of fentanyl.
