Niantic rose Pokémon GoThe level cap from 40 to 50 in December 2020, although the requirements for leveling up included more than just earning XP. Work hard Pokémon Go players must complete tasks to level up, some of which are blocked by time. A handful of players recently reached level 48, and when they reached 49, their progress was restarted. To correct this, Niantic increased the affected players, completing their tasks and taking them to level 49.
To level up to 50 on the last day, FleeceKing and Bertoni had to make 999 excellent launches, catch five Legendary Pokémon and take down three Team Go Rocket Leaders using Pokémon with 2,500 CP or less. All of these tasks are no laughing matter, so your hard work was definitely worth it.
