The player allegedly kills the rival, posts the body video online

A chilling Brazilian player confessed to killing a professional “Call of Duty” rival after uploading a horrible video of his bloodied body to social media, according to reports.

Guilherme Alves Costa, 18, reportedly stabbed Ingrid Oliveira Bueno da Silva, 19, at her home in São Paulo, where she had gone Monday to participate in a “Call of Duty: Mobile” contest, reported the Times of London.

Other players raised the alarm after Alves Costa – who played online under the name “Lanterna” for the “Gamers Elite” team – posted the terrible footage.

“You are thinking that it is ink or that it has been edited or something, but it is not,” said Alves Costa online while laughing.

“I really killed her, understand? I also have a book. I asked some people to share. I hope you read it. It contains some truths, ”he added, according to Mirror.

The book was a 52-page manifesto in which Alves Costa explained why he committed the alleged crime, complaining about being tired of life, having no goals and not getting along with people, the vehicle said.

He reportedly fled the scene, but the police were called when his brother came home and found the woman on the floor.

Alves Costa reportedly called his family to say he would commit suicide, but his brother dissuaded him, according to Mirror.

When the police arrived at his home in the Pirituba neighborhood, they asked him the reason for the crime, The Times reported.

“Because I wanted to,” he said, adding later: “I know the seriousness of this situation.”

Alves Costa reportedly informed investigators that the victim “crossed [his] way, ”according to Mirror.
