The Overwatch PachiMarchi challenge starts on March 9

March has many good holidays, but the Overwatch world is adding another.

PachiMarchi, the month-long annual celebration of the game’s adorable Pachimari mascot, will now have its own challenge, which runs from 9 to 22 March. While details about the challenge rewards are scarce, we can guarantee that they will be lovely.

OverwatchThe challenges usually ask players to win nine games in competitive mode, quick play or arcade to unlock a specific skin or cosmetic reward. The last challenge was Hanzo’s Kanezaka Challenge, which included an epic skin for the hero, as well as the introduction of a new free map. The PachiMarchi challenge may involve a Pachimari skin for a hero (we certainly hope so).

One of the best-known mascots in the game, Pachimari is made up of equal parts of onion and octopus with a large, beautiful head and small tentacles. The creature is an omnipresent part of Overwatch universe and can be found on almost all maps in some form or form. Hanamura and Busan maps, for example, include Pachimari crane games and free map for all Kanezaka has a full-scale Pachimari arcade.

Pachimari plush dolls are also hidden in tons of Overwatch maps. In the Junkertown striker’s spawn, players will see that Roadhog and Junkrat have some soft Pachimari friends nearby. A large Pachimari plush can be found on the table in each “ship” before a control map.

The cute figures have also arrived in the real world. Overwatch fans can purchase all kinds of Pachimari merchandise at the Blizzard store, including tiny cups, sweatshirts and soft toys.

The PachiMarchi challenge starts on March 9 and runs through March 22.
