The original version of Metro 2033 can be kept on Steam for free

Offer runs until March 15, so don’t delay

Celebrating an entire decade of Subway – oh my god, has it really been that long? – developer 4A Games decided to distribute free PC copies of Metro 2033 on Steam this week. It’s free to be kept forever.

All you need to do is claim the game Monday, March 15 at 10:00 Pacific.

In a fun twist, 4A Games is offering the original version of Metro 2033 2010, not the Metro 2033 Redux launch that appeared four years later – so if you’ve always wanted to come back, now’s the time to act. Some fans prefer the distinctive look of the original rather than the optimized and enhanced remastering.

In the meantime, the rest of the series is on sale now, including the latest game, Metro Exodus. With birthday discounts, you can get the Restored titles for $ 3.99 each and Exodus for $ 13.59.

Ten years ago, I didn’t expect Subway be where you are. 4A Games has done well.
