The OnePlus Health app is displayed on Google Play for Android

After years of being popular only for its smartphones, OnePlus is about to enter the wearable space with the OnePlus Band fitness tracker. Before the debut of this product, the “OnePlus Health” app appeared on Google Play.

This new app tells us a few things about what OnePlus has in store, but perhaps most importantly, it directly reveals the design of the company’s fitness tracker. In the app’s images, the band’s design is clearly shown with the typical fitness tracker appearance and the name OnePlus under the screen.

Also in these images, we have an idea of what the OnePlus Band will be capable of. The OnePlus Health app shows support for step tracking, calories burned, heart rate tracking, sleep tracking and GPS-based motion tracking. There are rumors that the band supports the tracking of Sp02 and other health metrics.

Health data
Keep an eye on your health by recording and visualizing your daily activities, heart rate, sleep data, etc.

Training record
Monitor your routes and record steps, duration of training, distance and calories burned. Generate personal exercise reports to understand your progress.

Smart devices
Pair and manage multiple smart devices, such as smartwatches and bands. Customize and synchronize message notifications and incoming call information.

As staff at Android Police point out, this app looks very familiar. The reason for this is because the app is essentially a copy / paste job from Oppo’s “HeyTap” health app, which has been around for a long time. It is not surprising, however, given the proximity between these two brands have merged especially in the past two years.
