‘The Office’ turns to victory, ‘The Mandalorian’ Surges In Nielsen Streaming Ranks – Deadline

The office, which now broadcasts exclusively on NBCUniversal’s Peacock, has gained momentum in its final days on Netflix, according to Nielsen’s latest U.S. broadcast numbers.

The sitcom ended in first place in the period from 7 to 13 December, with more than 1.2 billion minutes of streaming. It was the seventh place on the show since Nielsen started the streaming chart last summer. The ratings measure only the streaming on a TV screen and are released after a long delay according to the services being measured.

While Netflix once again dominated the charts, Disney’s The Mandalorian reached second place with the penultimate episode of its second season on Disney +. The end of the show was the best so far, with about 1 million minutes of total viewing.

The new entries in the rankings (see the top 10 complete below) include Manhunt: Deadly Games, which came in fifth place after releasing a second season, and No. Big mouth, whose fourth season just hit Netflix.

As weekly ratings begin to reflect the Christmas-New Year period, the general audience should be excited, especially with the release of HBO Max Wonder Woman 1984 and Peacock starting to broadcast The office. So far, Nielsen said it tracks only Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu and Disney +.
