A spokesman for the Ocasio-Cortez campaign confirmed that the images in the email were authentic.

Ocasio-Cortez denied these criticisms.
“People were trying to hurry up and infiltrate our office buildings – that’s why we had to be evacuated in the first place,” she tweeted on Wednesday.
The congresswoman said she had a “near death” experience in the closed Capitol complex during the rebellion, although she was not inside the US Capitol itself. And she has been fighting with critics in recent days who accuse her of exaggerating the threat she faced.
