The next Xbox controller is Pulse Red and will be released in February

Black, white, blue and now red

I’m sorry for anyone out there accumulating a variety of multicolored Xbox controllers – they just keep coming. The gamepad’s latest colorway, Pulse Red, is a vibrant combination of red and white.

The Pulse Red controller will be available on February 9, 2021, for $ 64.99 in “most Xbox markets” and tomorrow, January 12, in China. It is compatible with your Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PC or mobile device. In certain regions, Microsoft is also launching a 14-day Xbox Game Pass Ultimate trial.

This appears to be the next logical step after last year’s Xbox Shock Blue controller.

I haven’t put my hands on one of these newer models yet (I’ll stay with my original Elite controller for as long as it lasts), but I’m a fan of that specific aesthetic and I’m curious about the Dynamic Latency Input System in general. I will have many options the next time I am on the market.
