The next characters coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate are Pyra and Mythra’s Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Nintendo announced the new Super Smash Bros. challengers. during Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct.
Pyra and Mythra, Rex’s allies of Xenoblade Chronicles, joined the newly added Sephiroth characters Final Fantasy 7, Min Min’s Armsand Steve / Alex de Minecraft. Pyra and Mythra will be launched in March.
This pair of characters is the fourth addition included as part of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2. All six characters in that passage (not counting skins) – plus new stages and music – will be released for Final on December 31, 2021, Sakurai said during a Nintendo Direct Mini presentation in January. The first Fighters Pass added Joker de Persona 5, Hero of the Dragon Quest series, Banjo and Kazooie, Terry from Fatal Fury / The King of Fighters and Byleth from Fire Emblem: Three Houses for Final as paid content.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was released on Nintendo Switch in December 2018. It is one of the best games on Nintendo’s handheld console.
