Between the second season of The Mandalorian and Marvel WandaVision, Disney monopolized the weekly merchandising market linked to the most recent episodes of its biggest shows. After each new episode, there was some kind of new memorabilia linked to the events of each series, and this week is no exception.
WandaVision has made some big breakthroughs in the Marvel cinematic universe during the last two episodes, and two new Funko POPs inspired by the events of the series will allow you to celebrate them on your collectible shelf. But since we are talking main spoilers here, continue reading only if you are up to date on the program.
New WandaVision Funko POPs
First, we have Kathryn Hahn like Agnes, who was actually always the black witch Agatha Harkness. She revealed herself to Wanda after kidnapping her children with an incredible theme song. Then she took Wanda on a journey into the past to find out exactly where Hex came from, only to realize that Wanda Maximoff is the mythical Scarlet Witch. As a Funko POP, she is floating and using her purple magic powers.
We are not sure what Agatha Harkness plans to do now that she knows the extent and origins of Wanda’s abilities, but all of this will lead to a major confrontation at the end of next season (series?).
The other big reveal from last week’s episode came in a sequel in the middle of the credits that revealed what SWORD’s acting director Tyler Hayward was planning to do with Vision (Paul Bettany) Taking advantage of some of the energy absorbed by a drone that entered Hex, Hayward rebuilt and reactivated Vision’s corpse, appearing in white instead of the traditional magenta and green. This sets the stage for a major battle between Wanda’s newly created vision and this artificial version intended to be used as a conscious weapon.
As you can see, Vision Funko POP also comes with a booth to let you fly, and Walmart has an exclusive version that has elements that glow in the dark.
