The new T-Mobile Magenta Max plan is the first of its kind

A new wireless plan from T-Mobile arrives this week that is made for those who want to consume all the data. Called T-Mobile Magenta Max, this plan states that it has no limitation on 4G or 5G networks and still provides unlimited data.

Magenta Max, which will be released on February 24 as a replacement for Magenta Plus, includes unlimited 4G and 5G data, as I mentioned, but T-Mobile says it will not restrict that plan at any time, which means it should not there is no data limit. This should be truly unlimited “Premium Data” that will not decrease even if you reach 500 GB in a month. I think we’ll find out if T-Mobile will honor that, if some of you test the limits.

In addition to the premium data, T-Mobile includes unlimited 4K streaming, 40 GB of high-speed mobile hotspot data, Netflix Standard on family plans and unlimited Gogo WiFi on board.

How much does Magenta Max cost? T-Mobile did not say how much a single line will cost, but offered a price of $ 57 / line when you have three lines in your account with autopay enabled. For a limited time, they are charging $ 47 / line. With the current Magenta Plus plan priced at $ 85 / month for single line accounts, I think this Magenta Max plan will cost around $ 100 / month if you don’t have multiple lines.

T-Mobile purposely makes these ads as confusing as possible when it comes to pricing, so I apologize for not being clearer here.

T-Mobile is also updating your regular Magenta plan with double the “Premium Data” from 50 GB to 100 GB per month. They are increasing the access point from 3 GB to 5 GB of high speed data as well. These updates come with a price increase from $ 40 / line to $ 47 / line.
